The Moondance Inn is centrally located between Red Wing’s two shopping districts, the historic downtown and the Old West Main/Pottery district. Each are a 10 to 15 minute walk from our B&B. We buy local. 90% of the meats we use come from Buchanan’s Market, about 4 blocks from our home. We do subscription farming during the summer with A-Z produce, an organic farm outside Stockholm, WI. Our pure maple syrup is produced by S&S Sugar Bush about 15 minutes from us. For special diet needs we shop at Simple Abundance, a health food store in Red Wing. We also shop the Red Wing Farmer’s Market, and finally, get our eggs from local, organic farms.

The Moondance Inn is comfortably elegant with woodwork and chandeliers over 115 years old. We have one of only three remaining gold gilded, hand stenciled ceilings left in private residences in Minnesota. All of our guestrooms feature antique furniture, private baths, and two-person whirlpools. We are in our 17th. year of business and strive to provide a relaxing and enjoyable get-away for our guests.
